Wolves boss O'Neil offers fresh hope to Sasa Kalajdzic
Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Steve Davis has offered fresh hope to Sasa Kalajdzic, saying the striker is "recovering well" from a long-term injury.
Kalajdzic has been sidelined since August with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, but Davis says the Austrian is "ahead of schedule" in his rehabilitation.
The Wolves boss says Kalajdzic could be back in contention for a return to action in March.
"Sasa is recovering well from his injury," Davis said. "He's ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation and he's working hard to get back on the pitch.
"He's a quality striker and he'll be a big asset to us when he returns.
"We're hoping to have him back in contention for a return to action in March."
Kalajdzic's return to fitness would be a major boost for Wolves, who have struggled for goals this season.
The Austrian striker scored six goals in 15 appearances for Wolves before suffering his injury.
